A 7-pack of drum microphones provides accurate representation of the entire drum kit for live and studio applications. Different microphone arrays can be adjusted to efficiently capture kick drums, toms, snares, and cymbals. These compact and versatile microphones are suitable for close, precision miking. This KM1200 large-diaphragm dynamic capsule is specially tuned for kick drums. Mount this microphone on a short mic stand, then place it just below the kick drum opening. Point the mic directly at the drumhead for more attack, or toward the far end of the drum for a more resonant tone. The TM1200 medium-diaphragm dynamic capsules are specially tuned for toms and snares. Mount clamps on each microphone and then place them on the rim of a tom or snare drum. The angle and distance of the microphone from the head are adjustable. Position each one toward the center of the head.
