The BETA 98AMP/C is a cardioid condenser instrument microphone featuring a built-in preamp and the A75M universal drum mounting system. No other BETA 98 model is equipped with a built-in preamp. It has a wider dynamic range, with a 7 dB higher SPL than the BETA 98AD/C or BETA 98A/C.
Designed for the same applications, it instead features an A98D battery mounting system with a flexible arm.
