Dante Stagebox is simple, versatile and high definition
The Tio1608-D2 is a Dante-compatible I/O rack with 16 mic/line inputs and 8 line outputs. It remotely controls gain from TF series and DM3 consoles, allowing for easy stageboxing. The versatile Tio1608-D2 also supports 96kHz, making it perfect for use as an I/O rack in large installations with products like the RIVAGE PM or DME7.
The versatility and scalability of Dante
The Dante audio networking standard is used on the DM3 and TF series, as well as the CL and QL digital mixing consoles. These consoles can be combined with the Tio1608-D2 or the R series I/O racks to create a system that meets the required scale and budget. Patching can be enabled through the Dante Controller, while remote HA can be controlled with R Remote software.
*Please note that Remote HA on the Tio1608-D2 can only be implemented through the primary port. Remote HA control of the Tio1608D2 is not available on the secondary network, even when used in conjunction with the TF or CL/QL console.

The Tio1608-D2 is the ideal stagebox for use with the TF or DM3 series. The TF series can use the optional NY64-D expansion card to connect up to three Tio1608-D2 units, while the DM3 can connect with a single unit. Connecting the console and Tio1608-D2 units with a lightweight and durable CAT5e Ethernet transmission cable in daisy chain provides low latency, high quality audio transmission without the transport and installation time required when using analog "SNAKES".

Dante has been adopted by leading manufacturers and professionals in the sound amplification industry for its low jitter, low latency, and high-quality sampling accuracy. With Tio1608-D2 units, you can easily set up a high-performance Dante Stagebox system with little to no IT networking knowledge. Thanks to the flexibility of the Dante network protocol, the TF or DM3 series can connect to many Dante-enabled I/O racks, such as the R series of I/O racks.

The TF and DM3 series are equipped with automatic network configuration and audio patching features, making system setup easy. After configuring the unit ID and QUICK CONFIG switches from the Tio rack's front panel, the TF series' QUICK CONFIG function or the DM3's AUTO CONFIG function allows you to complete system setup by simply connecting the console and Tio rack with an Ethernet cable. Simply turn on the power supply and you're ready to go.
*Set the QUICK SETUP switch to ON when using Quick SETUP on the TF series and set it to OFF when using AUTO SETUP on the DM3.

Once the basic setup is complete, you can easily assign the inputs that best suit your system. All inputs can be uniformly assigned to the Tio Rack instantly from the TF series' INPUT or from the PATCH screen on a DM3. Users can switch each input to receive signals from multiple locations, allowing efficient use of all inputs.
