Now, Yamaha has redefined their essence in a compact enclosure. The HS3 and HS4 are powerful tools for creating a wide variety of audio content—from music productions to video editing—that meet the expectations of creators with limited space who must work at low volumes but don't want to compromise monitoring quality.

A sound always faithful to the original signal
The HS3 and HS4 follow the design philosophy and expertise of Yamaha's previous studio monitors. No effort was spared to achieve the optimal product, and the resulting speakers contain carefully selected components such as the high-performance Class-D amplifier, a highly durable MDF enclosure, and soft dome woofers and treble that produce sound that is faithful to the source despite their small size. They also come with patented "Twisted Flare Port" technology, which reduces air turbulence noise at the bass reflex port, reproducing clear and accurate bass. That's the secret of why the HS3 and HS4 have exceptional resolution, sound imaging, and depth with a flat response across the entire bandwidth without affecting the original sound.

The rear panels of the HS3 and HS4 are equipped with ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM functions that allow you to make adjustments to achieve the ideal sound for your environment, such as reducing the unnecessary exaggerated low bass that often occurs when speakers are placed against walls.

Inputs and controls that adapt to any need and use
The rear panels of the HS3 and HS4 are equipped with an XLR/TRS combo, RCA, and stereo mini-jack, allowing you to connect a wide range of professional and consumer equipment, including computers, audio interfaces, mixing consoles, and electronic instruments. The most commonly used features—the power button, volume control, and headphone jack—are located on the front for easy access.

Compact and portable
The compact size of the HS3 and HS4 is achieved thanks to the highly efficient Class D amplifier. Using one amplifier for two speakers allowed us to reduce the weight of the speakers and simplify cable connections. They take up little space even in a small bedroom studio and are easy to take with you on the road.
