Tablets

Yamaha Guitar Development (YGD)-designed H5 pickups feature a clean, open sound and are perfect for making the most of the active/passive preamp flexibility. Their four-pole-per-string alnico magnet design gives them all the power needed to drive the active circuit, while still providing the sensitivity and finesse needed to capture even the smallest details in passive mode.
Electronics (active/passive switch, battery charge warning)

The TRBX600 models feature a high-fidelity active/passive circuit characterized by precise tonal control and extreme flexibility. This advanced design delivers the same output level in both passive and active modes, allowing seamless switching between modes. In passive mode, a passive tone control is provided, which is also located within the treble control. Critical contacts in the signal chain are gold-plated and of high quality, increasing conductivity and reliability. A rear-panel LED provides instant warning of low battery power, eliminating the possibility of a power outage during a performance.
Body

The TRBX series features a 3D-sculpted alder and maple laminate body to optimize mass and achieve a perfect balance between sound, comfort, and weight distribution.
Mast

The TRBX bass neck design combines a fast, ultra-comfortable profile with a 5-piece maple/mahogany construction for outstanding stability and great sound.
Mast-body union

The TRBX series uses a precise bolt-on neck-to-body system for maximum adjustability and a clear, punchy sound. Developed through hundreds of hours of real-world playing, this neck-to-body system achieves a perfect balance of strength, vibration transfer, and access to the highest frets.
Shovel

The straight string path from the nut to the tuning peg eliminates lateral tension, provides greater tuning stability, and reduces harmonics.
Nut

A 38mm (4 string) or 43mm (5 string) nut width allows for greater comfort and speed when playing any style of music.
Bridge

The high-mass, die-cast bridge transfers string vibrations to the body, providing intense sound, while also being highly durable and easy to adjust. 18 mm string spacing on the 5-string models allows for exceptional ease of fingerstyle playing and slapping.
Output jack

Yamaha's standard metal plate-mounted jack offers increased durability and easy access should the need arise.
